Full Form: Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT)
Purpose: The Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by participating Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other leading management institutions. The programme combines undergraduate and postgraduate management education, enabling students to earn an MBA after completing the integrated course. The examination assesses candidates' aptitude in quantitative reasoning, verbal ability, logical thinking, and analytical skills.
Conducting Body: Primarily conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak for their respective IPM programmes. Other institutions may conduct or accept separate admission processes.
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed or are appearing for Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board are eligible to apply. Candidates must also satisfy the minimum percentage and year-of-passing criteria prescribed by the respective IIM or participating institution.
Age Limit: Candidates must satisfy the age criteria specified by the respective participating institution. Generally, applicants should not exceed the maximum age prescribed in the official admission notification for the relevant admission year.
